Hi, I'm Mr Hendry!

I'm a Chemistry & Science teacher and tutor based in Aberdeen, and I've been teaching since 2020.

I grew up in Aberdeenshire and studied Chemistry with Modern Languages at the University of Aberdeen. I also hold an MSc, PGCE and QTS, and have been an exam marker for 3 years.

I've always enjoyed Chemistry, but I know that it isn't always the easiest subject to understand! That's why I started creating short Chemistry explanations and revision content on TikTok for students studying N5 and Higher Chemistry.

Mr Hendry Chemistry is my way of bringing together the explanations, questions, revision resources and exam tips that I use to help students build their confidence in Chemistry.

Outside the classroom

When I'm not teaching Chemistry, I spend a lot of time with Jessie & Brahan, my family's dogs — Jessie is a 5 year old Labradoodle and Brahan is a Goldendoodle puppy.

I also enjoy cooking and try to cook as much as I can when I have the time.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you find something useful here!
